Originally deposited as a minidisc. Contains reminiscences from Marie Grice. Born in Middleton on the Wolds, in 1928. Discusses parents occupations, running errands, household tasks, living in a cottage, being a child at the time, listening to the radio, starting school, the clothes she wore, celebrating Christmas, going to church, cars, going on holiday, the food they ate, the elderly, the Forresters, the fair, the village doctor, Mothers Union, helping evacuees, starting work, going to the cinema, and dating.
