Originally deposited as a minidisc. Contains reminiscences from Peter Roy Cressy. Born in Skidby, in 1920. Discusses Octavius Vose, the flood of 1912, his extended family, small holdings, selling produce, moving schools to Cottingham, mixing with children from Hull and Cottingham, going to business school, Ashtree house, his fathers employees, taking over the farm, milling, introduction of the electric motor, the blacksmith of Skidby, threshing, the land army, prisoners of war, Skidby cricket and football teams, and making a radio.
