Admin History:

Custodial History: Digital copies made with the permission of the owner as part of the 'Rural Roots' project. 'Rural Roots' was a project funded by a grant from the Heritage Lottery Fund between January 2007 and March 2008 that appointed an outreach officer to develop local history groups in three selected rural communities. Part of the project involved identifying archive collections still held in the community and arranging for digital copies to be made of them. These digital copies were generated as a result of this project.

Originally deposited as a DVD-ROM. Includes accounts for 1 Jan 1846-14 Aug 1851 and accounts 11 Oct 1861-4 Feb 1862. Wincetts Farm was sold in Sep 1861 to William White, with John Biglin as manager. Also contains copy letters of correspondence between Benjamin Burnham and William White relating to dispute over work on the Humber Bank affecting the farm 1862.
